OU is a great school. The academics are solid, and faculty are top notch. Tutoring is available from professors at convenient times. How often do you get a PH.D math professor spending an entire afternoon tutoring you, one on one in their office. Financial Aid is good, but its best to work when possible, having some savings and a job make affording here much easier. Living on campus is expensive and pointless. If you can, commute. If your going here, be prepared to work and study hard for the next four years. Finding your niche makes things better, since people can snotty. If your looking for a party-school, best look somewhere else. Socially, the school is OK at best. There are alot of opportunity for travel and volunteerism, parties suck and so does the Greek scene. Most people graduate and go on to bigger things, like Med and Law school, and usually forget their college friends. If your looking to grow and be challenged mentally OU is a sure bet, but keep in mind it is expensive.
