Major: Nursing (This Major's Salary over time)
I am currently in the nursing program at the Jacksonville campus.This school, like many other campuses is all about the money and to hell with the students! They pretend to care just to get you in the door. Once you are in, they surprise you with the technicalities .For example you must take an ATI exam 3 times per semester.If you fail one, you must repeat the entire semester and believe me ,it's not cheap!They dont teach the material in a step by step fashion.The most important material is SELF TAUGHT ,such as ATI!Clinicals are a joke! They make you follow CNA's -make beds ,change diapers all day!You are lucky if you get a chance to pass meds once in a semester! Some clinical sites are nasty or the staff doesn't want students participating in skills!A lot of time is spent just walking around the clinical sites .The students are in fact ghetto or extremely stuck up and racist! (Go figure!)So there is a definite lack of respect all around! If you are thinking about attending,Please run in the other direction! I wish I had someone to warn me about this so-called school!
