Where do I begin? Well, I attended this school for a very brief period of time because it was so awful. The campus is very run down (makes you wonder where all that tuition money is going) and right next to a water treatment plant. The "beach" is very tiny and the dorms are ancient and cramped. The food is mediocre at best; you get tired of it very quickly and just want to eat out all the time. I'd say 75% of the people I met there were from the northeast, very wealthy, and went to fancy boarding schools for most of their lives. Very big drug scene, and if you don't participate you miss out on a lot of the social scene. They are pretty much accepting anyone who can pay at this point, because of the economy, I'm assuming. If you listen to the local radio they are advertising constantly. They have very low standards as to who they accept. I met people who had been expelled from their high schools and people with very low gpa's and test scores. It's a shame because honestly the only redeeming quality about the school is that they do have great professors. Extremely qualified and generally pleasant to deal with. That's what made my decision to leave very difficult. I know you're there to get an education, but everything else just takes away from that. I wouldn't recommend going here to anyone.
