I love Drake, I transferred and it was a total change, but the students and facualty really helped make the transition easy helping me every step of the way and answering any questions I had. The school food may not be the best, but there are food places near by. And as a Drake sutdent you get a lot of discounts on many things around there. Facualty is always available, even if they are not in their office you can always shoot them an e-mail and they respond in a decent amount of time. I e-mailed a teacher at 10:30 one night and they responded back in a short amount of time. As for the social life, you have to get out there and make friends. Yes, if your not 21 you can'tget into bars, but downtown isn't to far away from campus, and there are a few spots that are 18+. There are even more 18+ clubs around the city. As far as the parties on campus… there are some at times, you just have to get out there and make friends that is the only way you are going to be able to know what is going on around campus. It's not like they post when they are having parties around campus for ALL to see.
