I'm currently a Freshmen attending Sacred Heart University. Initally, I was looking for a smaller school..something more personal. AND TRUSTTT ME. this school is small, it is my 2nd semester at shu and i feel like i know every face that passes me in the hallway. If you are a guy and play sports.. u have a chance of having a good time. It all depends on what u are looking for in a school. I have an awesome selection of 8 close girl friends. The problem is, we all want to transfer together. So far, the guys i met are no the nicest, they are self absorbed and dont really care about getting to know u at all. Every weekend people like to go to clubs such as The Pearl, Tree house etc and they SUCK. My friend was at treehouse and had a gun pulled out on her! Don't get me wrong, I LOVED Sacred Heart initally. But then it seemed like it was the same thing everyweekend, it was highschool not college. However, the staff is SO nice and will do anything to help out their students. I'd say if u recieve a really big scholarship to attend this school, and you are looking for the smaller " i know everyone" type of school…you will love this school. I'm not oging to lie, i will miss it. But I need a different experience, this school wasnt the right fit for me. Everyone I talked to said that we came at the wrong year, and last year was better. So hopefully, if you are attending this school- you will have a better time then I am having.
