Here's the thign about Wheaton. I could not stand the place, made friends with the wrong people all rich kids who have too much money and don't udnerstand the meaning of a budget. Though I come from wealthy parents my parents didn't give me thoiusands to spend in one semester they wanted to teach me modesty and I had to work for my own money. Alot of people at Wheaton don't have that, plus it's crazy expensive with barley and finicial aid so it has to be full of rich kids. You know if it is full of rich kids facilities suck so much. The sports fields are jsut as good as any big public school in America. The food is terrible, they don't have the budget for food so I went out alot (which you need a car to do) I usually can eat anything but 4 months of crappy chicken/stirfry I can't stand it anymore. Carrer Services are terrible if you want to get an MBA. I asked about an advertising placement it was a complete waste of time. School atmo is not concerned about summer internshops kids don't really talk about it. which depending on who you are can be a good thign or a bad thing. Drinking at Wheaton is a joke, freshman year was fine because I was a freshman but then you grow up a little and your just like this is fucking retarded. Drinking in some dorm then goiing to Balfour for the dance compeltely fucked out of your mind it grows on you. OH and I am abroad right now becuase I needed to ge tthe hell out. The Study abroad office is terrible. WAs completely useless, had to do research on my own had no guidence of choosing a program. I wanted a program that would look good on a resume and they didn't seem to understand. They jsut send kids wheverever no matter the strength or prestige of the progrm.

The positive is the professors. Acdamically I have grown so much and I can't thank Wheaton enough about that. i write alot better think more critcally then I ever did in High School. Since Academics are supposed to be important to your college this review is neautural. Social Life and the people can get really old. Oh and the only international scene at wheaton is rich kids who don't have anything better to do with thier lives then go out to fancy restuarnts buy expensive liquor and are on scholariship! haha Wheaton is a joke don't come here. I urge you. Alums are terrible at wheaton because it used to be an all womens school so all th ewomen married rich husbands instead of doing somehting with thier lives. Wheaeton was never something like a Brinmore or Smith where women graduated empowered. So since the men graduating are quite young in comparision you will find no CEO or anyother powerful people. Just look at the board of wheaton haha its a complete joke. IF your looking to do non profit work then wheaton is for you or law school. cause law school is just about GPA and LSAT.

I do not recommend Wheaton.
