Major: Communications (This Major's Salary over time)
I started attending Ramapo last year and I am sorry I did. I really just wanted to learn, get my degree and get out. I have found the students to be very closed off, self centered and rude. If you ask someone for help, they seem bothered. The professors are not too bad but some really inhibit your creativity which is sort of ridiculous for a communications/contemporary arts student. The environment overall is un-friendly unless you are middle-class and have been raised in ritzy suburban areas. I honestly prefer a much more diverse atmosphere with people from all walks of life who do not think the world revolves around them. As for dealing with anyone that works for the college, only a small handful of the staff are willing to actually help. I had to go out of my way to find answers several times because I was not given a direct answer. I would recommend looking elsewhere.
