I was recruited to go to Fort Lewis for football. Right away, I loved the scenery, and how close it was to skiing. However, after a month of staying there I could hardly stand it. People who visited me from Colorado State hated it as well. It was as if their vacation was a great demotion from their university. The fact is that the campus is great, the faculty is great, the facilities besides the dorms are great, but the people made me wanna leave. The parties are small and thrown in run down old houses(if any of us could get to boulder or foco on the weekend we would). I also think that more money is spent on weed on this campus then on your tuition. Classes were too easy, easier than my high school courses. I lasted a semester only because of football. Unless you love weed, and want to be a ski bum do not go there.
