Hendrix is a support, eclectic community. Upsides? The professors are passionate about their subjects and will go the extra mile. The students are quirky, white, and mostly Southern. The food in the cafeteria is AMAZING! The res halls are not fantastic, but the apartments and suites are very posh. I owe a lot to Career Services - they will fight for you, whether you want to take one of the many study abroad trips or get an internship in Little Rock. One of the best features is the profuse financial aid. 100% of students receive scholarships. There really are no major weaknesses to this school. Yes, the Internet connection sucks. Yes, there's never enough parking. If you're politically conservative, this is probably not the school for you. Most anyone who thinks there a little different, though, who is willing to work, will succeed here. The classes are much tougher than anyone expects as a freshman, plus you'll have to take courses across the disciplines. But that's just another way that Hendrix helps you grow.
