I had a great experience at GCU! My faculty were helpful, and worked with me in the classes. Their response time for online classes were less than 24 hours. The campus is safe with police on site all the time (Phoenix PD as well as hired security). Phoenix is a large city (5th largest) and is like any other city…pockets of crime but I didn't feel that way on campus. Schools I went to in Florida were much worse! Everything that I learned in class I was able to apply to my job the next day. As far as FA, never a problem because I didn't go to school to rack up bills and live off of my aid. I went to further my education and never had a problem. Seems like people on this site were looking for A's and $$$…not this school. I would go back to get my MBA here or my doctorate. Lots of great leaders and a good leadership model!

Hi, my son is thinking about attending gcu this fall. He will be living on campus, what happens on the weekends? Is there enough to do at gcu? I am concerned about the online classes. Did you have to take a lot or are you in class more? My concern is all the negative talk about admissions and financial aid. Would you choose gcu again? Thanks for the help :)
