I have attended both a smaller college and large university before receiving my Bachelor's Degree. I was looking to Northwestern Business College to receive my Paralegal Certificate and unfortunately it was a big mistake. Just as commented in other reviews this school is too expensive for the education that you receive. I was promised that the paralegal program would be offered on Saturdays and I would be able to complete this certificate in 1 year. Halfway through the program I was advised by the staff that they will no longer offer Saturdays at Naperville or Bridgeview. I am extremely disappointed for wasting my time and money at this school. I have contacted the head of the student advisor as well as the head of the department about this problem. I am unable to receive any response from them as to any alternatives. At one point I was told that I could possibly take the remaining classes independent study, but the tuition would cost the same. I can't see paying the same amount of money for teaching myself and meeting with an instructor a few times. I too am still paying on this student loan that is not worth anything. To top it all off the advisor at the school continues to call me every new term to see if I want to come back. When I reiterate what the problem is they tell me who to call. They never seek out the answers to my questions and call me back. I have asked them to stop calling me and was told they will try but cannot guarantee I will not be called by someone else within the school. This is ridiculous the school is not that big!
