Do not go here. Almost all of your coursework pushes a communist, feminist, or otherwise extremely liberal view on you. Your professors don't care and are only biding their time until they can get to a better university. The campus is small and boring. There is absolutely nothing to do, but drink. A lot of schools claim to be in the middle of nowhere, but this campus is LITERALLY surrounded by cornfields. The people are for the most part ignorant and rejects from other schools. This is probably why the greatest majority of the student commute from home.Do not dare attend this school if you have views that differ from the liberal professors and staff (like believing in god). The student organizations are a joke. In closing, there is simply nothing good about this place. Don't let the "U of I" tag fool you..if you go here you will be begging to transfer within a few months.
