This University is a complete joke. They call themselves an LCMS college, but instead, all I got out of it was paying for a private college education with getting a public education. I went to a parochial high school, so I thought I knew what to expect, but I guess I was wrong. This college claims that it is a "top-notch" college, when in mine and a lot of other students that go here, it is sub-par at best. The campus life is dead, there is little if anything to to, and it will seriously drive most people mad. The classes I had to take were also a joke. I didn't come to college to take 3 religion classes, 2 history classes, 2 english classes, and numerous other classes that you need to take to graduate. If you are thinking of going to this school, think again. Me, along with probably close to 50% of my grade are thinking of transferring out after this year. I wouldn't come close to spending (for me $20,000) on a year of this education again. I would much rather go to a state school and spend the $15,000 or less that it would cost to go there as opposed to here. Finally, if you are coming here for sports, let me say "hahaha". We are in the worst division 3 conference in the nation for every sport outside of mens soccer, and if you are coming here for any sport besides that, just remember you were warned. I came here expecting to continue my high school sporting success to the college level, when actually, I was the best on my team as a freshman, and thats not saying much considering I never was at my high school which had under 200 students in it. This is just mine (along with a lot of other peoples opinions) written for future prospects. I'm not saying don't go here, but do look at some other options first. You may be VERY glad that you did.
