I attended USC in the past, and I have to say that I did NOT like my overeall experience at SC. SC is a good school, no doubt about that. That's why I came here (but made a huge mistake). What pissed me off about this school was the dorm life. Not all, but more than 85% of the people living in dorms tend to be your trashy, low-life, materialistic los angelenos. They like to blast their music, to a point where blood is about to rupture out from your ear. There are also students who get wasted and puke all over the carpet. Where I'm from, only animals do this. But in L.A., puking all over the carpets and pissing other people off with your noise and other sh-t is a "cool thing" to do in L.A. The classes are okay, and registration for my classes was not a problem. However, some of my instructors are racist, close-minded and some didn't even bother to give me eye contact while I asked them questions during office hours. Again, it's this trashy behavior that I've noticed amongst the local Southern Californians. They tend to go about doing their things without listening to you. As for the Trojan Network, it's all a hype. Even my friend who graduated from the Marshall Bus. School back in 2006 say that the Trojan Network didn't help him get a job at all. And don't believe in that balogna that USC degree is like an ivy league degree - because it's not. SC is a good school, but no way, in the minds of employers (get that?), is SC equiavlent to Ivy League, Stanford, Northwestern, Rice or even the UC colleges.
