Date: Mar 18 2011 Major: Economics (This Major's Salary over time) SU can be whatever you make it out to be. They have great educational programs and opportunities are there for those ambitious enough to take them. The faculty are great, SU being a small school allows for the students to get to know their professors and get help if they need it. The city of Salisbury does have a high crime rate. There are dangerous areas and its important to be careful about where you might go. But on the whole I found people to be friendly and being so close to Ocean City was defiantly a plus. Food is great. The commons is buffet style, pay to get in and all you can eat. Most students are friendly and open to meeting people. By my second year, I couldn't walk across campus without seeing three people I knew.My only mistake was not utilizing the Career Center as much as I should have. I graduated without a job in a down market and have found it difficult to start a career. Talk to Career Center no matter what college you end up in. Have an internship, network, and send out hundreds of resumes.
