Major: Nursing (This Major's Salary over time)
The campus is well laid out, well organized and nice. There are police there all the time, and I've always felt safe in the evenings when walking out to my car. The parking situation can be difficult during the day time, however. You may have to park a good distance away from the building, and walk. The math instructors there are great. Some of the professors did not use the English language very well. Their accent was very thick, making it difficult to understand the lectures. And in some cases, they did not use correct English in wording their test questions. Most of the professors are great, but some of them can be difficult to get along with. I was not impressed with the nursing instructors. They seemed to favor younger students, while dismissing older students as not worth the time. They also picked apart the personalities of their students, rather than encouraging them in their chosen field. One of the nursing instructors is an incredibly negative person, and I would be disappointed to learn she was still teaching there. My hope is that she will leave teaching and do something else. Otherwise, I've been very satisfied with Collin College.
