I am an out of state student here at Charlotte and I honestly have no problems what so ever with this university. The campus is absolutely beautiful, especially with all the new buildings going up. The downside to all the construction is sometimes the roads will be closed, but I feel like it hasn't happened too often. There are many great sports teams at Charlotte as well. Every team is always ranked high in the A10 or nationally, I think people just need to look over the fact that we don't have football (yet) and get some school spirit and support the teams we have. I lived on campus for 3 years and I will say a lot of the people go home a lot over the weekends which is hard to meet people, but the ones that do stay are generally friendly and fun to be around. I've never had any issues with any professors in both of my majors, all have been very helpful if you go out and ask them questions or advice. I am very pleased being here and am considering staying in the area after I graduate.
