Major: Biology (This Major's Salary over time)
The administration is rude and does not care about the students. Most of them are even unaware of some of their own policies. The grades do not reflect at all what students do and do not know. The grades are inflated with extra credit, that students do not even work for. The grading systems are often arbitrary and completely subjective. Thank god I will be evaluated by nation wide standardized testing that IS NOT written by FAU, when I finish. One of many examples I can give is when my organic chemistry lab had an "OPTIONAL" meeting for students to ask questions about their grade. I find out people who showed up got 15 points of extra credit. I did not show up because I did not have questions about my grade and obviously because we were not told about the extra credit. These points would have increased my grade from a B to an A. When meeting with the course administrator I was told that "it's my problem." This is after I told her I would do an extra assignment to earn those points unlike some of my peers who blindly and serendipitously walked into some extra credit points.
