I think it's absolutely ridiculous what people are saying about Susquehanna. I've been a student here for 4 years and while SU is not perfect, no school is. The people ( current freshman) who are complaining clearly did not embrace the entire SU experience and all it has to offer. The individual who complained about for days quite honestly has no chance of succeeding in the real world. Not only is Susquehanna's campus beautiful, it's EXTREMELY small and all the academic buildings are on the same road. Any moron can find their way around campus. Not only that, but the students here are so incredibly friendly that all you have to do is ask and someone would tell you where to go.I was also quite offended by the orientation week comment. Susquehanna is one of the only campus's I know of that goes out of their way to make freshman/transfer students feel welcome. Honestly, what other school do you know of that has orientation leaders, Greek life, staff, RAs, clubs, and staff come together on move-in day and move ALL of your junk into your room. Sure, not all of the orientation activities are going to be fantastic, but that's life…and seriously, complaining about community service? What kind of person does that? Susquehanna has an incredibly close relationship with the surrounding area and businesses. Heaven forbid you have take a few hours out of your day to help them out when they do SO much for the University. As a current senior I can honestly say there have been times where I haven't always agreed with decisions made by the faculty or University in general, but overall I couldn't be happier I came here. Selinsgrove, PA might not be the most exciting place on the face of the earth, but it has become a second home for me. I will genuinely be sad come graduation. My four years here have been some of the greatest years of my life and I wouldn't change my decision if I had the opportunity to do it all over again.Don't listen to these ridiculous negative reviews of the school. Like I said before, Susquehanna is not perfect, but no school is. Susquehanna continues to try to improve the campus and curriculum to better prepare and satisfy the needs of their students. College is what you make of it. If you come to Susquehanna with an open mind, good work ethic, and positive attitude they will give you every opportunity to succeed in ways you never imagined possible.
