FHU is a college for babies who need to be told everything they must do.  If you like being over 18 and having someone tell you when you must be inside for the night, that you must go to their “mini-church"/chapel before lunch every day, what you can and cannot do with your free time when you're off campus, and numerous other things, then by all means FHU is for you.

If you are expecting your college to actually respect you as an adult, allow you to make your own religious decisions, respect your convictions and let you be your own person, then you need to look for another school.  If you don't want people constantly trying to convert you to their narrow way of thinking, don't go to FHU.  Also, if you dislike it when people assume you are always having sex, drinking, or otherwise doing morally objectionable things, you might want to stay away from Freed.

The quality of education there is quite deplorable, as FHU prefers to hire members of the Church of Christ.  Thus, church membership is of far more importance than academic competence and achievement.  Most majors are direly under-staffed and the facilities are pitiful.

And once you graduate, the begging for money will not stop, even though the tuition you paid for the “honor” of going to this over-rated community college is about twice what you would pay to get a better education at a state university.

Also, Henderson is a pitiful little hick town, but Freedies like it because it helps them stay inside their little “bubble” and prevents students from being exposed to a world that might actually give them actual experience.  Sheltered brats!
