Salem State University is a great choice when it comes to choosing a College. The only thing that is negative about the Campus is like it is spaced throughout the city of Salem. There are shuttle busses and bus stops that transport you from Campus to Campus. It is an open campus but I did not mind it. I like walking and I like the city feel. The North Shore Mall is close by, and down town Salem is great to go out at night or spend the day at. College can be challenging you just have to try and not procrastinate on your work. I liked how this University is full of life and not in the middle of nowhere. It?s an actual city with shops, restaurants, and campus life. Lots of fun, dorm rooms where clean, but I lived off campus in an apartment which lots of people do there junior/senior years.
