Grove City College is a great place. However, I do not think that everyone belongs here…I can definitely see how some people would get bored with the social life. But if you enjoy forming close relationships with people and talking on a deeper level with your peers and professors, this is a great place. Expect to be challenged, but know that if you put the work in (I can only speak for liberal arts majors) you will do well.

Personally, I have somewhat low grades. I am not the best at keeping grades up, though I love the classes and frequent on-campus lectures by prominent and interesting intellectuals. But regardless, I am treated by my professors as a very smart and striving student. There have been so many opportunities for me to get involved in extra-curriculars that my seriousness about learning and social activism can come through in places other than the gradebook.

The emphasis on spiritual life on campus acn have the effect of making you cynical after a little while. Be sure to get away from campus a little bit when it comes to that…find a church that is not 100% students and remember that there are other Christian traditions other than the few represented here.

Overall, Grove City is a beautiful place with great, caring professors and serious students. The social life is geared toward close relationships and making your own fun, but if you are willing to invest in relationships and find people who share your interests and hobbies, you won't be bored here.
