Major: Art & Design Department (This Major's Salary over time)
I'm involved in a graduate program and I would love to know who decided this was a program for "working professionals." How do these people expect you to go to work for eight hours a day or more, come home, and do six projects in three months' time? And have them be good? No social life or activities is fine with me - by the end of the day, I'm too tired and I go right back to my dorm or hotel room and pass out. But this is overload, not to mention most employers will not want to keep you around if you have to take off for 2-3 weeks at a time three times a year. I got fired from my job because of needing this time off. And the school is way too expensive. Almost five thousand bucks for four days? It's not worth it. I have not actually learned anything while here - just using what I already know and improving through nothing they are offering me. I wish I could drop out, but I'm being forced to attend, so I have no choice. I was trying to save up for a car (not easy doing minimum wage work) and I had to give all my money to this godforsaken place, thus remaining dependent. What they want from me every year in tuition is more than what I even made salary-wise. If you've got extra money to spend, then by all means, go here. If you're like me and are unemployed and can't get any loans or scholarships, then do not go. You'll be in the poor house trying to pay for their meal plan alone.
