Major: Animal Studies (This Major's Salary over time)
I went to a prestigious college prep school, so I was well prepared for college. I lived in a very heavily populated area and could not wait to get out.Lexington is a wonderful city - yes, it is an urban area, but it's relatively small for a city. I love the size and there's always something going on in town. Now, the university. I love UK. It could not be better for me! I'm majoring in Animal Science and minoring in History. The Agriculture department is AMAZING and the professors are always there for help. The History department is the sane; I'm specializing in European history for my minor and I love everything about it. The academics are challenging, but definitely manageable. The dorms here at awesome. I would suggest doing your research on the dorms before you choose - location is key on this campus! Most of my classes were centered in one area, so I had an easy walk to all of the buildings from my dorm. But, be sure to not choose a dorm building that has nice rooms, because it might be a long walk to your classes! As for scheduling, location is once again very important. I LOVE UK and I'm sure you will too!
