I attended UoP in Missouri attending actual class at one of their 3 sites. The enrollment process at UoP is extremely shady. I was told before completely enrolling that I had some credits that would transfer. That was a LIE!They also enroll individuals based on how fast they could get paperwork processed. (I was personally told this by an enrollment counselor who eventually quit because of low enrollment performance issues) The Learning Team component was a joke. You shouldn't have to hunt grown people down to get their information for a team paper/project or to participate in a discussion.

Administration is a joke as well. 3/4s of the way thru my undergrad, UoP administration decided that there were not enough people taking ground class in the criminal justice program. They forced us to go online. For those who were getting some form of financial aid, it caused them to have to owe the school money before moving on to the next class. It took awhile, but eventually we were able to get online classes for ground price.

NONE OF THE ONLINE CLASSES REQUIRED TESTING!!! When I questioned administration about this, I was told that we were evaluated by the papers you wrote. Hmmmm! That doesn't sound quite right considering I had several run-ins with team mates who plagiarized on a regular basis! Online classes was just a lot of busy work and a waste of time. Being graded on how many onine posts you make was absurd! You could post something about your dog and someone (sometimes the instructor) would reply to you to stay on track with the conversation and you would get credit for that stupid post.

Credits from UoP do NOT TRANSFER ANYWHERE so I was stuck finishing my program there.

PRO: The Public Speaking class was the best class I had while attending. By the end of the class, I was no longer afraid to stand in front of people and speak…almost as good as Toastmasters!

Bottom line…this school is ridiculously expensive for the lack of education that is provided to you. RUN!!!

commentMany of the better instructors will plagiarize check, and mark down people for plagiarizing. I've been marked down for a team member plagiarizing. After that I checked everything that was submitted in my teams, and reported multiple students for plagiarizing, and the instructors typically took it very seriously.
responseUOP courses to not transfer to other colleges very well if at all. Word to the wise; take your core classes at a community college and transfer to an in state university. This will save you a lot of time and money. UOP is a money grubbing worthless scam. I got my AA here and have to take most of the course over at my present school. What a joke!
