I went into BU with a lot of very high expectations. I was so excited to live the typical "college" lifestyle—go to parties, make tons of friends, and become really interested in my subject area. I was very disappointed. If you don't make friends the first few weeks of school, you're completely out of luck. If you're a guy, you most likely won't have many friends unless you pledge. For the price of this school, it is 100% not worth it. There is literally no campus—the buildings and dorms are in a straight line up and down Comm Ave. The professors are sub-par for what they're getting paid, and grade deflation, especially in pre-med, is ridiculous. I remember reading reviews on here when I was choosing schools and being pretty blind to any bad reviews. I really regret that now, and if I had the choice, disregarding the few great friends I've made, I would have picked a school that was smaller and much less money/gave me financial aid (I am paying full tuition at BU).
