Some classes suck..like CS 2110..my God..I hate this class..and I hate the professor and TA's in this class..no one gives a damn about you, but they are sure happy to keep giving you work to do..that you need to figure out on your own with no help from the professor. The professor is totally useless, wastes your time with dumb stories in class, and refuses to upload any homework or test or lab solutions so that students can actually IMPROVE their understanding. Try getting a free CS tutor to help you from the CS department..they aren't exactly a dime a dozen and come with their own issues..oh, and they don't have the time to help you as much as you may need, nor necessarily when you need it.

The advisors are often in a pathetic mood, refusing to help at all..I mean, you can see it from their face and behavior..

The grading of exams and homeworks has got to be the biggest reason I hate this department. You work so hard, only to get back a low grade on your assignment/test/recitation submission, and no personal/individualized feedback at all..just a damn number after paragraphs and paragraphs of text..most probably graded by some overworked undergraduate TA who couldn't care less about you. Oh, don't expect nice, detailed comments directly specifically to you, so that YOU can improve your answers..if you are used to teachers who give a damn about you, run run far far away from this department and from Georgia Tech. Expect "teaching" to be, generic lecture slides, and random scribbling on the board..with no rhyme or reason or intent to train and improve the understanding and knowledge of the student. At this rate, I would rather sit at home and read a textbook all day. Only then, I would feel even worse for wasting my time and money at Georgia Tech.

Oh, and stop telling students they can only use their textbooks to do homework..if you must say that, then ask questions that can actually be answered by understanding the textbook..or GIVE BETTER NOTES THAT EXPLAIN THE MATERIAL. This is a huge problem in my Math and CS classes. Stupid hypocritical teachers and establishment.

NOT WORTH IT FOR OUT OF STATE STUDENTS. STOP SUPPORTING THIS SCAM OF A "SCHOOL". Last, I checked, a school involved teaching and support. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BE SUCKERED IN BECAUSE OF TECH'S NAME. Since many colleges are just as bad, find the cheapest deal for yourself.
