Major: Art & Design Department (This Major's Salary over time)
I never really had any idea on what I would do for a career later on in life. All I knew is that I enjoyed movies, music, and drawing. And then one art class someone from the Illinois Institute of Art - Chicago visited us and I was hooked. I didn't have a back up school and I didn't look into others, because I knew that these was the place for me. I took a tour later that year of the campus in Chicago and then in Schaumburg. I picked Schaumburg because they have a competition called Artimation every October where students can enter in projects from school or personal jobs and judges from all over the country (including representatives from Disney and Digital Domain) vote on different categories. It's a lot of money, but I am finishing my 7th quarter here and I can say this school was perfect for me. Everyone here is really nice including teachers. Most of the teachers here have job experience in the field that they teach and give a great inside look into what you could possibly be doing in the future.
