The university of hawaii's campus is nice. There are trees all around. The professors vary, some can be helpful while others do not care. If you are a freshmen, then going to orientation is a must. While for transfer students, they do not tell you as much. There are two types of ways to get suspended either be on probation for a semester and not keep up or if you have tried for 24 credits, you have to maintain a 1.7. The Universtiy only gives out letters to some students letting them know if they are on probation. I went to see a counselor and told her that the communication between a professor and i was bad. the professor would not email me back. The counselor told me to make friends in class and ask them for notes and etc. Why should a student in a class of maybe 30 to 50 have to make friends? Some students are not comfortable. Instead of blamming the student, maybe you should look at the professor?
