There are a few aspects to this school which I feel need to be examinedCampus: Im not going to lie, Its beautiful. However, I would advise you not to pick a school solely based on how "pretty" the campus is. You really need to look deeper.Faculty: Want world class faculty, instructors who won academic awards and who are innovates in their field? You are not going to find it at TCNJ. Here you will find professors who resemble high school teachers. Impressive right?Resources:There are no spectacular internships available here. Its trenton, there is a prison and a mental hospital. They do not have study abroad sites or opportunities for that matter.Students: They are all from NJ. You wont be able to meet people from across the US and the world. You will meet people from your town and neighboring towns. 95% of student are from NJ. Exiting right?Campus Life: The school is very small and in the middle of nowhere. They lie, its a suitcase school ! Its really just a school for mediocre kids from new jersey who want to become teachers and have some fun in the process. Its not a big state school, you will not find huge parties and sports here if thats what your interested in.In conclusion: This school tries to be "prestigious", it falls very short. Why would you go to a school that has such little opportunities, unless you could care less, In that case then you do belong at TCNJ. If you do care; go to a school that has prestige, study abroad, amazing internships positions, and world renowned faculty. I transfered from here to a leading university and I was amazing by the difference. TCNJ is like high school.
