University of Alaska Anchorage…..what a waste of money. I am an engineering student and UAA has the worst Physics and Chemistry departments. I will never recommend anyone go to this University. It saddens me to say this because I am second generation Alaskan born. I will be transferring to UAF and if you are an Engineering Student I would strongly recommend you do the same. Math department is good but the science (Physics and Chemistry) departments are completely arrogant and self-absorbed. You have been warned!!! The only true engineering program is civil the rest are just a BSE with an emphasis in the specified field (degrees employers are not interested in).
