This place can be bad, my first year was pretty much like most reviews on here. Boring, unsocial and just an all around cruddy time. Wentworth can be like that a lot of the time too if you let it, but you can't let it get you down, because your in Boston. Theres so much to do in the city you don't even need Wentworth. My first advice is to get off campus as soon as possible. Living on campus totally kills the college vibe. Its hard to have fun when the RA's are walking around like prison guards asking you to be quiet. Jumping the gun on accusing you of smoking or drinking in your room or doing any other "illegal" activities. But if you have an apartment or know someone who does nights in the city will be just like any other college out there, you just gotta know where to go. As for the academics the architecture program is great IMO. the faculty is willing to help you and meet with you off the clock. Studio space is wicked nice to have. The only thing that seriously needs work is the print lab situation. Lets step it up were a tech school with a design college that relies on renderings, plans, photos other printed items, when you have finals its ridiculous trying to print to have 4 majors using one plotter and 2 color printers.

Overall you need to try at Wentworth, you can't just come here and expect to have the "college experience" placed in your lap. You have to be social, you have to talk to people and you have to put yourself out there. Everyone keeps reviewing this place so horribly but if they just tried a little harder to meet people they wouldn't have much left to complain about.

questionGlad to hear your college experience is improving. On a different note, my name is Doug and I am an MCPHS student looking to pruchase a parking pass. I would give you 50$ for your trouble and time. thanks
