Do not forget that some high school valedictorians choose to attend UCR for the sake of setting curves. lolwut |
Major: Biology (This Major's Salary over time)
The University of California, Riverside is not what you might think it is. There is a misconception that this school is academically inferior to the rest of the UC's and perhaps even worse than the CSU's.However, that is completely wrong. As a matter of fact, that was also my perception upon entering the school during the Fall Quarter of 2007. Boy was I wrong. The classes which were supposed to be "easy A's" were actually difficult and required some time studying. Remember those "I'll just wing it" and "Ehhh, shouldn't be too hard" days? Well those days are over. The professors are very intellectual. Their backgrounds vary from Princeton to CalTech. No Joke. These professors are harsh on their students and will not give any leeway. As for the students, yes many are underachievers, but there are those few who will stay up all night studying to ace the test. Do not forget that some high school valedictorians choose to attend UCR for the sake of setting curves. You will come across these people in your class and you better damn well study or they will set the curve so high that you will not be able to get that A.
