Major: Biology (This Major's Salary over time)
Like a regular small private college. Students from rich families swarm the college, they really have no grasp on real life. But usually they aren't too snooty. Borderline racist, I mean it's expected we are down south. Students are pretty approachable most of the time, if you stay away from some topics. Lots of vapid sorority girls, lots of little cliques. Frats/Greek life is a huge part of the campus, some are nice-some aren't. Lots of people sleep around and everyone knows about it-because it's such a small college. A lot of people here like to pretend they are artsy and know a lot about the world, but they are just kidding themselves they only know what they've heard from other friends on facebook. But it's all about finding the right group I suppose. Parties are pretty great, but it gets tiring after a while I suppose. The staff is pretty friendly, however some professors can be a little condescending. Biology department is well rounded but extremely hard. The coursework will really challenge you. The surrounding city is very sparse, there's a small town within a mile of the campus and it's charming and very old fashioned. No malls within an hour of driving. Some really bad eateries on the other side of town. In downtown Chestertown, the restaurants are nice but expensive. Overall this college is nice-not really my cup of tea but I only stay for the huge financial aid.
