I began my year very ecstatic about what ENC had in store - it was a campus perfectly located and accessible to the great city of Boston. A great aspect of ENC is that many kids there are very outgoing and generally pretty nice - however the experience reminded me of high school (lots of gossip and nosiness). This was partially due to the small campus, and the fact that many students' lives are centered around ENC.Some of the faculty are great, yet others are extremely pride filled. It surprised me that the Theology department in particular was very arrogant - I once was mocked in a class of 70 students for asking a question. When I pursued justification for this action, it was put on the back burner and no action was taken.I am now in a state school, paying 1/2 the price, and learning 2x what I learned at ENC. I really wish I could say I had a great experience at ENC, but I didn't. On the other hand, I did meet friends that I will know for the rest of my life…The facilities are run-down, and many of the administration are consumed with talking instead of acting. It's unfortunate, but you get what you pay for. ENC may be one of the cheapest schools in Boston, but the experience is less than ideal. I hate bashing on a school, yet I'm trying to look out for incoming students.
