I'm a working adult. I'm ex-military. I posses two assiciates degree from two other comminity colleges. As far as my religion; I'm a skeptic. I got into the aspire program because of the convience to working adult; which it is. however, at 1500 dollars for a 5 week class seem to be high. 190 dollars of which is to barrow their book. I thought Education was like everything else. you get what you pay for; this does not seem to be the case. after attending several classes I'have noticed the education takes a back seat to their religious superstitious agenda, This has personaly driven myself from having any relationship with any dieties. It appear that they criticise any idea that conficts the bible. In addition, for $1500 premium, one would expect to receive first class resorces in the class room to better convey their discussion. For example, well prepared curriculum, that is deplayed on a over head moniter, that is observered by corfortable chairs with a decent writing surface. In contrast, It appears that the instructors are teaching out of their area of expertise, or winging it; and any class whith a overhead moniter the instructor is unable to figure out how to use it. The chairs are small, and in some reguard consider cruel and unusual punishment. Having worked in a profesional career for 10 years. having traveled the world protecting our freedom one would think that my opinon might have some relevance. Nope, Due to the fact I do not posses I doctorate degree, I must be a fool. That is the impression I receive. So I suppose, I'm another sucker tring to better myself, while Belhaven is creating new ways to releive me of my hard earned money.
