Going to OU was the greatest decision I ever made. The whole idea that OU kids are just kids that didn't get into OSU is wrong. I chose OU over OSU and haven ever regretted it. The students are friendly and laid back. Going to class in a t-shirt and sweats is completely okay and encouraged. The programs go above and beyond and the professors are always there to help. I have never had a professor who did not speak almost perfect English. I have never felt dumbed down by a professor. Everyone is extremely down to earth. The amount of student organizations will blow your mind. There are professional and special interests ones that you wouldn't even think existed (Games Show Appreciation!). It is an amazingly beautiful campus no matter what the season and always well kept. Some kids will lost focus because of the party scene but if you want to stay out of it it completely possible. I never want to leave Athens!
