Lots of the many comments on here about the financial aid department; business office; … there is really no regard for students, you can max out your financial aid and still get an erroneous bill that isn't itemized and then they freeze your ability to do anything… they slap $500 late fees on top of $500 late fees every few weeks… even if you are a current student and making payments on any balance… you can't get caught back up… you make a $1,000 payment, they say thank you and here's another $500 late fee on the balance still left… I really feel it is criminal and I wish someone would file a class action… I believe you'd have many students relieved to finally have their concerns and over payments they know they are making addressed… because you go into the finance office it is a blanket mean gritted response 'there's nothing we can do'… you could ask if the sky is blue they'd respond 'there's nothing we can do'… they don't care about the students and the student retention rate is proof in the pudding and the student graduation rate is a disgrace…

As far as safety… shame on anyone who comments on this survey that there isn't a health and safety issue on campus… and false advertisement on the webpage… the pictures of the dorms at Holly House posted on the webpage are of these completely remodeled, clean, beautiful little apartments… the condos at Holly House are disgusting, the doors are program, the first three weeks I was on campus there were three break ins… my apartment was broken into and brand new lap top computer, my phone, my tv, my text books… with the police standing there the BU Housing person said 'we didn't tell you to come with brand new laptops'…seriously… they repaired a kicked in door with electrical tape and nails when the door needed replaced… it's a disgrace… and the entire school is a disgrace to Catholic Instituions of Higher Education every where… shame on Barry University, shame on their Board of Regents, and Shame on the President of the college for letting things run the way they do! Shame!
