YOUR EXPERIENCE HERE IS WHAT YOU MAKE IT, DONT READ THESE NEGATIVE COMMENTS AND MAKE THEM CHANGE YOUR MIND. DO WHAT YOU WANT REGUARDLESS IF YOU GO HERE OR BOWIE OR CALIFORNIA (WHEREVER) YOUR COLLEGE EXPERINCE IS DETERMINED BY YOU AND HOW YOU HANDLE SITUATIONS WHEN ITS ONLY YOU WITHOUT PARENTS.

FACTS:

for those who dont know baltimore is a urban/hood area and MORGAN STATE is located right in the hood (EAST BALTIMORE). MORGAN is a open-campus so anyone can come on the campus at anytime(even when they really arent supposed to but security not out 24/7). MORGAN is NOT dangerous or anything like that but its common sense to walk with others when it starts to get dark.(and thats anywhere not only here,whereever you are b/c people are crazy these days)

the dorms arent great but i mean i havent heard of any college havin PERFECT dorms ? this is not a 5 star hotel - and the food IS NOT THAT BAD it just depends on what it is, but you can always go to Mcdonalds

every once in a while theres a on-campus party but not always.but theres always a off-campus party every weekend. so if you like to party you will have fun

the people: they say everyone is ghetto (THATS NOT TRUE) they also say if you dnt talk like them they will say you sound or act white (THATS NOT TRUE) im not ghetto and i must say i do talk white(BUT THEY DNT JUDGE ME B/C OF THAT) yes they might say somethin about it(ONCE-AS A JOKE) but not sayin it to be racist or ignorant.

the guys arent all disrespctful . honestly i havent met one yet(DISRESPECTFUL GUY). they are actually fun to be around and protective and they love to play so they will keep a smile on your face. (freshmans are either in a all girl dorm or all boy dorm but if your not a freshman you are more likely in a co-ed dorm building ,like me) we have lots of pillow fights just to have fun (in the hallways) - so when they say all we do is party we dont we do crazy (child like things) but we are not childish people we just like to have fun . and sometimes that mean just stayin in the dorms and going wild.

the females most of them act like highschool students but it doesnt matter cause you dont have to talk to them. most are stuckup but you dont have to talk to them. some are judgemental but you dont have to talk to them. ( i keep my circle of female friends small -cause im not mean stuckup or judgemental) its crazy most of the girls are pretty but really ugly in the inside(attitude)

the games (football/basketball) are all fun . thats where i met like all my friends

the staff: people say they are mean but thats not true there are just some disrectful students soo the staff dont show respect to them. soo they have no reason to complain they just need to learn how to talk to people with respect

I THINK I WENT OVER EVERYTHING. HOPE THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS DONT CHANGE YOUR MIND . I PROMISE YOU WILL HAVE FUN . THERES A LOT OF GROUPS YOU CAN GET INTO ALSO.
