Major: Unknown (This Major's Salary over time)
I just completed my second year at ECU and I absolutely love it here. I'm gonna give a rundown of everything you would expect to find here. For starters, the campus is beautiful and constantly being updated with new buildings/remodeling as well as new equipment. I came here as an undecided student, which I would not reccommend to anyone because the undecided advisors are not very helpful at all with choosing a major. After much confusion I finally decided to pick a concentration within the college of business, and am very happy with my choice. Unfortunately, this school is home to a good amount of people who are only here to party, and many of them like to talk down on the academics. However, our business program is pretty highly rated, as well as ECU's nursing, theatre, and many other departments. Fortunately, most if not all of the kids who are only here to party fail out after the first year, which is why ECU is finally starting to highten their admissions standards. This school has literally hundreds of clubs and organizations to join, and I'm not exaggerating when I say that there is something for everyone. I've been a part of a few different organizations, which really help you to make friends. One of the best things about ECU is its small school feel. Walking around campus, you would never believe there are almost 30,000 students attending the university, but no matter how many people you know here, there are always more and more people to meet. ECU has an amazing social aspect, just be sure to find that balance between school work and partying. Greenville isn't the most interesting place ever, but there is always something to do. Apparently, we have the most restaurants per capita of any city in the US. The campus is right next to downtown and anyone 18 and older can get into the clubs. It is also a short drive to the beach in one direction, and to Raleigh in another. Also, football season is incredible. I have never seen so much school spirit in my life as I have at this university. My only complaint about ECU regards the financial aid office. They are so unorganized and have no idea what they're doing. Overall, if ECU would fire everyone in the financial aid office and raise their admissions standards even higher, I'd give this school an A+. In my oppinion, you will have a lot of fun here, but you will also gain a quality education. Take a visit, walk around campus, and just see how friendly all the faculty, staff, and students are, and you will definitely want to spend your college years at ECU!
