The San Francisco Art Institute (SFAI) is a private, non-profit college of contemporary art with the main campus in the Mission District of San Francisco, California. It was founded in 1871 and is one of the oldest art schools in the United States. It is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. The college offers Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Fine Arts degrees in fine arts, and Master of Arts degrees in art history and education.
