simple truths: being near boston is great for all it has to offer as well as all the colleges that are near by-it's easy to get off cmapus when you need to if you only try.

the stereotypes about BC are onaly 5% true-trust me-only 5% of the people who go here are

j-crew with a hangover
and only 5% of the people here are stuck up rich white kids, everyone else here is chill.also its a lot more diverse than anyone lets on-the problem is that to me, it feels like the students themselves unintentionally segregate themselves by joining so many nationality groups on campus-they are not meant to be exclusive but thats what they turn out to be, there are groups on campus trying to put an end to this though because most people dont want to be asian with only asian friends or white with only white friends or black with only black friends etc. etc. etc.

dont let the religious affiliation and reuirement for a theology class scare you. while the official number is 70% christian affiliation of undergrads, i can tell you for a fact maybe 1% of that is the right winged close minded jesus freaks. there are people like me who mark that down on the application when in fact i hardly practice or observe catholicism other than christmas mass. no one is shoving reigion down anyone throat here. also-campus ministry holds great retreats and not all of them are completely focused on religion many are focused on faith in general meaning any type of organized, unorganized, made-up faith or version of faith you may practice. the campus is absoutely gorgeous, the dorms are pretty good. the food is pretty good.
