Major: Mechanical Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
The University of Nevada has proven to be more than i expected. Although i was accepted to more prestigious schools, I chose UNR due to financial issues. The engineering program is challenging at times and I found the students, for the most part, to be quite outgoing. Nevada also has a lot of school spirit, which makes football season a blast. The campus itself is well maintained and beautiful..the city, not so much. One redeeming quality of Reno is that it has 4 very different seasons giving you the best of snowy weather and desert summers. Make sure you take advantage of Lake Tahoe. It makes going here a lot better.
