I have read alot of the comments made about Strayer University and I still think it is a good school. I did attend college and like most dropped out. Why? Because college is demanding, challenging, engaging, and hard. Yet,I want to get my degree. If you want to get a degree, well you are going to have to earn it. This is with anything you do in life "You will get out of it exactly what you put into it". First, you should look at what the school is about. Strayer University is a business college and designed for the working adult. If you did NOT have any good study habits in high school then Strayer may not be the school for you. That goes for any college or university. Strayer provides a platform for you to abtain your degree however you have to earn it. The course work is demading and challenging. I have taken classes online and on campus. Personally, I think the classes online are more challenging, you have a lot of reading, posting discussions, quizzes, papers to write and finals to take. Well, the same can be said for the campus classes. So there you go…there is no getting around it, you got to work for that degree. As for the personnel in the Admission Office, they are friendly and helpful. I attend the Lithonia,GA campus and they have been helpful and easy to work with.
