I love BHSU!! It is a small enough school that the classes are taught by professors instead of grad students but still large enough to have adequate opportunities. Nearly every prof I have encountered is friendly, competent, and genuinely cares for their students. They are more than willing to meet with students outside of class to offer assistance, advice, and support. The campus is beautiful, green, and spacious. I love the variety of places to study: benches, large lawns, under trees, the library, beside fireplaces, coffee shop, desks/chairs/tables in the union, etc. Also, I love the clubs, sports teams, and school spirit. You will not be limited by the list of current groups as my friends started their own club just last year. The student population is friendly, accepting, and inviting. Finally, I love the community of Spearfish. It has a friendly small town feel while still providing all of the necessary businesses and events to provide for a day/night life. I would highly suggest BHSU for your future!
