The Emerson housing system is unacceptable. This past year, after informing us 3rd years would be required to live on-campus, the school a month later kicked half of us off and has left us to fend for ourselves. The Little Building needs renovations and the 3 newer buildings are clean but stuffy (similar to a funky upscale hotel, if you're into that sort of thing). Most faculty are friendly and approachable but I can't say the same for student services. Almost all student services are the opposite of what they claim to be. A lot of students are hostile and cold because of being fed up about not getting assisted with certain things. Areas that need improvement and friendlier/more helpful employees: mail services, student services, off-campus student services, print and copy center. As for the dining hall: the staff are the friendliest people you'll meet, the food is terrible and the same every. single. day. Just a warning.
