Drexel is a good University. Everyone complains about their College, and rightfully so, but not all is true. I am a 4th year student in the 5 year 3 CO-OP program. I was originally a civil engineering major then in the beginning of my 3rd year, I switched to Sports Management. I switched because I did not enjoy what I was doing. While in Engineering, almost half of the teachers speak English as a second language as well as over half of that staff for engineering is arrogant and self-absorbed, but the other half is helpful and nice. As at any school there are good and bad professors. Even in Sports Management there are bad professors, just not as many because it is a small program. The students in Drexel are everything. You can not expect all people you meet to be perfectly nice n wanting to be your friend, but not everyone is arrogant or an ass. Drexel has a nice collection of many different people from different backgrounds, races, and nationalities. It is a school that is very much into intramural and recreational sports more than other Universities are. Drexel is becoming a much better looking campus. Over the 4 year period I have been here, so much has been built, and it has made the campus even nicer. If I would have rated it when I first came as a freshman, I would have said it was a C- at best, but not it is fast approaching an A-. When it comes to the city, it's Philadelphia. If you can not find something in such a historic and iconic city, then you must be a boring loner who does not like to have fun. Overall Drexel is good. Yes there are better Universities, but there is also way worse. And if you want to do CO-OP, Drexel is the absolute best with CO-OP. And CO-OP is the best thing possible.
