Major: Accounting (This Major's Salary over time)
I am a fourth year student and a disabled veteran under a V.A. program. I regret my decision to attend CWU because departments within the college lack professionalism. It is concerning to say the least that students attend college to learn to be professional responsible adults and several departments at CWU display irresponsible and unprofessional behavior. The school lacks organization and leadership. Departments such as disability services, financial aid and the media departments employ individuals who have grown lazy and uncaring. It is obvious that the paycheck is their only motivation. Information is often lost within departments, intimidation and threats are common. Departments within the college lack necessary communication resulting in constant confusion for the student. I have witnessed some discrimination and intimidation tactics by departments and instructors. As a student and parent, I'm concerned that my children could possibly one day face the experience that I have this last year. I consider the institution unsatisfactory and in dire need of restructuring. On a more positive note, these problems do not plague all departments. There are instructors and personnel that care about the student?s success and show professionalism. Secondly this is the only university I have attended so I cannot compare it to others. I plan on posting a second comment upon completion of the program.
