I see a bunch of negative comments here and I do have to step in and completely disagree with them. It seems the majority of the comments are about computer science, so thats not real relative in the real world anyway…jk.

Anyway, I graduated from the Architectural/Civil Design and drafting program back in 03, and things have been absolutely great since. Ive had a very successfull career so far, and love what I do. I am a commercial plumbing designer, and work in the city of Houston. I make just as much or even more money than most of my buddies with big degrees from A&M, UT, Texas State, etc. I have TSTC-Waco to thank for getting my career started, and the excellent drafting design program there. I havent spent one minute in the real world working on Architectural or Civil, but the experience and degree from TSTC got my foot in the door at an MEP (Mech, Elec, Plumbing) firm and things have just escalated since.

If your considering going to school here, please know that all degrees and programs are not bad, and that you can really get a lot out of this school and have a great career after. I am very proud to say that I'm a graduate of this college.

The only problem that I do agree with is the social life and extra curricular activities. I lived way out in the country with 2 other guys, and all my friends were Baylor students, which I went out with and did activities with them. Its like I was an actual Baylor student but went to school at TSTC. There definately should be some changes there when it comes to that. Nobody wants to stay on that campus and theres nothing to really take part in there. You dont really get in touch with anyone in the school except the people in your major that you see everyday all day, and thats not right.
