I am an "almost" 40 year old woman with three children and a full-time job as an EHS Technician. I got the job I have because of my experience and knowledge in the Environmmental Health and Safety field, plus I'm very good at it. I was told, upon hire, that I had to get the degree to go with the job - so I am pursuing a BS in Occupational Safety and Health. I have a 3.93 GPA at CSU which I'm extremely proud of. The course work is good - it is challenging. Your credits will transfer and you will be working with the best staff who gets back with you promptly and takes care of issues right away. The best decision I made was to go back to school and get my BS…the second best was to choose CSU. It is an excellent school which will provide you with a quality education which employers recognize and accept. If you are too busy to attend traditional school, like me, this is the best option for you. There is also free tutoring, student resources, online library, writing help, etc. The professors are prompt in their responses and you don't get a free pass - you actually will work hard and learn a lot.
